I collaborated with senior engineers to create reusable components that could be seamlessly adapted to diverse client needs and environments. I spearheaded the development of a new internal news platform and automated HTML email system, streamlining communication across the campus. I played a pivotal role in maintaining the university’s design system and web component library, ensuring brand consistency across digital platforms and optimizing UI for accessibility and responsiveness.

West Virginia Water Research Institute

Internship

During my internship, I designed and maintained several WordPress websites, ensuring they adhered to brand and accessibility standards. A key achievement was collaborating with the National Board of Directors to redesign an online platform serving 54 water research institutes nationwide. I enhanced the platform’s UX, focusing on information architecture, and contributed to the visual design system. This redesign earned a national competition award and secured grant funding for the institute.
